Team Melli Beach Soccer head coach believes that the first step taken by his team was quite strong and firm while the result against the losing finalist of the last edition of the World Cup , Spain was historical and monumental.
In a short statement to the press after his team’s thrilling victory against Spain in the group stages of the eighth FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2015, the Brazilian Marco Octávio Simoes Barbosa (60 years) said that the players are all in good condition and most importantly in a good spirit. “The coordination between all of them is quite ideal and we count to keep it that way” Barbosa added.
He continued “The second historical win for us was this one against Spain. They were the runner-up of the last Beach Soccer World Cup and one of the favorites in this tournament. We were able to defeat a strong team. Players have taken the first step firmly.”

Marco Octávio conveyed his best wishes and congratulation for all the Iranian fans for such a victory.
Iran defeated Spain 6-5 on Friday and will be meeting Brazil on Sunday. The perpetually strong and title contenders Brazil, is leading Group C on goal difference after they beat Mexico 5-1 in their opener on Friday.
