Sevilla Move Quickly to Replace Youssef En-Nesyri with Sardar Azmoun

The La Liga club Sevilla are swiftly acting to replace Youssef En-Nesyri, who is set to transfer to Fenerbahçe.
The club’s sporting management is working on securing a loan deal for Iranian striker Sardar Azmoun from Bayer Leverkusen. Azmoun, who has been sidelined by Leverkusen’s coach Xabi Alonso since the start of pre-season, has accepted Sevilla’s proposal. The club is now working to finalize the deal as soon as possible. While Azmoun is the favorite, he is not the only option being considered.

Negotiations began weeks ago, but Sevilla’s financial constraints limited their options. En-Nesyri’s departure has provided the necessary funds to advance other operations. Azmoun is expected to join La Liga on loan, following his previous loan spell at Roma last season. The Iranian missed the first day of training due to illness and has since been excluded from Alonso’s plans.

Azmoun is under contract with Leverkusen until 2027. Roma had an option to buy him after his loan spell last season but did not exercise it. He played 29 games, mostly as a substitute, and scored three goals. At 29 years old and 1.86 meters tall, Azmoun has extensive experience in Europe, with over 350 appearances across Russia, Italy, and Germany. He is a legend in Iran and at Zenit St. Petersburg, where he won seven titles, scored 85 goals, and provided 38 assists in three years. Although his recent statistics do not match those of En-Nesyri, Azmoun’s playing style fits well with Garcia Pimienta’s tactics.

Allahyra Sayyadmanesh signs for English Championship club Hull City

Hull City FC secure the signature of Iran International Allahyar Sayyadmanesh. The Fenerbahce forward missed Team Melli’s game against Iraq as he had to travel to the UK to complete pre-signing Medical and other formalities.

Hull City hjas been bought by the Turkish entrepreneur Acun Ilicali – who has immediately installed the Georgian coach Shota Avreladze as manager since taking over – has some big deals in mind.

According to the news in Hull Live, Shota Arveladze about Allahyar’s transfer said, “He passed the health checks. He will probably join us on Monday.”

Beating Swansea City 2-0 in the first match under Shota Arveladze management, Hull City adds Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, Fenerbahçe’s player, to its squad. Shota Arveladze, the new coach of Hull City, owned by Acun Ilıcalı, one of the British Championship teams, has officially announced the transfer of Allahyar Sayyadmanesh who watched Hull city beating Swansea from the directors’ box.

Iranian international Sayyadmanesh was one of Ilicali  priorities

The highly-rated 20-year-old who was contracted to Fenerbahce has just returned from an 18-month successful loan in Ukraine with Zorya Luhansk.

Indeed, Sayyadmanesh is regarded as one of Asian football’s top prospects.

The Tigers are hopeful of concluding the deal for the 18-goal striker before the window shuts on Monday night.

The exciting young forward linked with a move to Hull City

Hull City are expected to complete the signings of Aleksandar Pesic and Allahyar Sayyadmanesh as new owner Acun Ilıcalı looks to strengthen the squad before the January transfer deadline.

The Turkish businessman finalised his purchase of the club last week and he made it clear that he will invest to improve the current group.

Therefore, it’s expected to be a very busy final week for the Tigers in the market and it appears that a few moves are already lined up.

That’s after reporter Yağız Sabuncuoğlu revealed that Pesic is set to join from Karagumruk in a 2.5m euros deal, whilst Sayyadmanesh is expected to link up from Fenerbahce.

Both are forward players, with Pesic having enjoyed a fine individual campaign in the Turkish top-flight, scoring 12 goals in 21 games. The 29-year-old has been prolific at different stages of his career, having also shone with Red Star Belgrade, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, and Seoul.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old forward Sayyadmanesh is an Iran international who is contracted to the Istanbul giants but he has had two successful loan spells in Ukraine with Zorya. Hull City are working on a £5 million deal to lure the youngster to the MKM Stadium before the end of the transfer window.

City supporters have seen their side linked with a host of names in the aftermath of Aseem Allam’s departure as the new regime looks to keep the club in the Championship.

One player reportedly attracting interest from the Tigers is Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, with Hull Live understanding Grant McCann’s side and Anderlecht are vying for his signature.

HullLive profiles the youngster ahead of his potential switch to the MKM Stadium…

Background

Sayyadmanesh is 20-years-old and has already been capped four times for Iran, making his debut in 2019.

The striker is contracted to Fenerbahce but spent last season on loan to Ukrainian outfit Zorya Luhansk – bagging 15 goals.

In December 2020, he even bagged the decisive goal in a 1-0 win to defeat Leicester in the Europa League at just 19-years-old.

Playing style

The Iranian is described as a physically imposing striker who has an instinct for finding the net.

At six-foot-tall, he possesses the strength to outmuscle defenders but prefers to run in behind and score the majority of his goals from inside the penalty area.

He averaged a 28 percent conversion rate while on loan at Zorya Luhansk, highlighting his ability to finish.

Sayyadmanesh’s flaws are seen as his dribbling but, at 20-years-old, there is plenty of time for him to work on his game.

Where does he fit in?

Grant McCann has played 3-5-2 this season but rarely has his frontline consisted of two strikers, with Keane Lewis-Potter occasionally operating out of position.

Tom Eaves – despite bagging his second goal of the season against Blackburn on Wednesday – has struggled to find the net, and Josh Magennis has left for Wigan.

Sayyadmanesh’s arrival would see him given one of the two starting berths upfronts and allow Lewis-Potter to play in his most effective role out wide.

Contract situation?

Sayyadmanesh is contracted at Fenerbahce until 2024, meaning any permanent deal would command a considerable fee.

Fenerbahce recalling Sayydmanesh.

A Turkish newspaper attributed Fenerbahce’s decision to bring back Team Melli striker Allahyar Sayyadmanesh on the poor performance of the team’s two new strikers and stressed that expectations were high on Sayadmanesh.

Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, who is under contract with Fenerbahce, was loaned to the Ukraine club, Zorya Luhansk on loan in 2020 and had a vital impact on his team performance. Sayyadmanesh’s loan term with Zorya expires in another month, and Fenerbahce intends to bring the player back and utilize him in the team lineup. In a report, the Turkish newspaper fotomac reviewed Fenerbahce’s decision to recall Allahyar, citing the poor performance of Fenerbahçe’s new strikers. The newspaper wrote: “Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, the Iranian striker of Fenerbahce football team, will return to Fenerbahce in January transfer window. The young striker will return to the yellow and dark blue team due to the fact that Zorya Ukraine is not able to pay 3.5 million euros for the permanent acquisition of Allahyar. What will Allahyar Sayyadmanesh do if he returns to Fenerbahce? “What is the difference between Fenerbahce’s current strikers, Sardar Durson , the Ecuadorian Enner Valencia, and German Mergim Brisha “?

“At the beginning of the season, Fenerbahce strengthened their attack with Sardar Durson and Brisha and decided to use Ener Valencia in the current area,” he said. “Valencia played left and right at Fenerbahce last season, but the Ecuadorian star’s performance on the offensive line was also acceptable. Fenerbahce had high expectations of Durson and Brisha, but things did not go as expected. “Fenerbahce officials then suggested to Vitor Pereira (head coach) that he also evaluate Allahyar Sayadmanesh in search of a new striker in the mid-season transfers.”

RSC Anderlecht chasing the talented Allahyar Sayyadmanesh.

With a lot more financial resources under their arm, Anderlecht will soon start the final catch-up movement. In the coming months, more quality players can therefore be expected in the Lotto Park and preferably on a permanent basis. Allahyar Sayyadmanesh is a 20-year-old top talent who is already being linked to a Sporting. It is not a very expensive deal, but promising all the more .RSC Anderlecht was looking for stability and sustainability in the player core in the past summer Mercato, but due to the financial limitations, Sporting still had to resort to four mercenaries. In the attacking line, Joshua Zirkzee (Bayern Munich) and Christian Kouamé (Fiorentina) were loaned out, both without a purchase option, so the Belgian champion will have to look for at least two new strikers next season.
Anderlecht will be able to start that search with a lot more capital. Main shareholder Marc Coucke converts 51.5 million euros of debt into capital. In addition, chairman Wouter Vandenhaute and Geert Duyck put another 24 million euros on the table to offer Sporting better financial and sporting prospects. In this way, only one bank loan of 10 million euros remains open.

That financial rescheduling has not taken place, but by the next summer, Mercato Anderlecht will be able to reap the benefits.

Peter Verbeke will then be able to enter the transfer market with a lot more financial resources compared to the past Mercato. Not coincidentally, Sporting is already being linked to multiple transfer targets. The most recent target is Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, a high-scoring striker from Zorya Luhansk.

INDISPENSABLE
Allahyar Sayyadmanesh is under contract with the Turkish club Fenerbahce, but the 20-year-old Iranian striker was loaned out to Zorya Luhansk in October last year for a season and a half.
Sayyadmanesh is doing very well in Ukraine, where he has scored six times and provided two assists in twelve league games this season. With these eight decisive actions, Sayyadmanesh is the most decisive player in the Premier League after Viktor Tsygankov (Dinamo Kyiv) today.
Zorya Luhansk wants their center-forward, who is also remarkably often played as a left-winger this season, but would like to tie them to them permanently. In the loan contract with Fenerbahce, a buyout price of 3.5 million euros was agreed, but that amount is too high for the club from eastern Ukraine. Allahyar Sayyadmanesh is seen as an indispensable link in the team of coach Viktor Skrypnyk, and not only because of his goals.

The Ukrainian press describes Allahyar Sayyadmanesh as the real leader and booster of Zorya Luhansk, despite his youthful age of barely 20 springs.

Sayyadmanesh guides his team through difficult moments, such as his two European winning goals against Leicester City and CSKA Sofia. As a result, the club and its fans are hugely disappointed that Sayyadmanesh will return to Fenerbahce at the end of the contract  at the end of December

EUROPEAN TOP TALENTS
For Zorya Luhansk, the lifting of the purchase option amounting to 3.5 million euros is impossible, so that the club will soon see their top scorer leave for Turkey.
However, the general expectation is that Allahyar Sayyadmanesh will not stay at Fenerbahce for long, but will make the switch to another European club. Anderlecht is mentioned, but also PSV, Torino FC, and Shakhtar Donetsk are reportedly lurking for him.

Ukrainian media have already written that the departure of Allahyar Sayyadmanesh will be a big blow for Zorya Luhansk.
The 20-year-old confirms with great success his status as one of the great European talents. The Guardian even included Sayyadmanesh in a prestigious list in 2018 as one of the sixty best young talents in the world. He was tipped by the British quality newspaper as a player for the next generation and in their latest update this month Sayyadmanesh is tipped to make a nice transfer very quickly.

In the list of sixty greatest European talents of The Guardian, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh ended up in the handsome company of Nicolas Raskin (then AA Gent, now Standard Liège), Rodrygo Goes (then Santos, now Real Madrid), Mason Greenwood (Manchester United), Curtis Jones (Liverpool), Myron Boadu (then AZ Alkmaar, now AS Monaco), Eric Garcia (then Manchester City, now FC Barcelona)

GETTING STARTED WITH KOMPANY
Given the enormous potential of Allahyar Sayyadmanesh and his great recent performances at Zorya Luhansk, it is therefore not surprising that he has ended up on Anderlecht’s radar.
The right-footed attacker possesses some high-quality qualities such as the finish, physical strength, and heading ability. His positioning, speed, ball stability, and ball controls are also very sound. At the age of 20, Sayyadmanesh is obviously not yet a finished product, but with Vincent Kompany, Anderlecht has the ideal coach today to refine his work points and further perfect his great strengths.

What is the real news behind Sayyadmanesh transfer?

Allahyar Sayyadmanesh was in news recently and the stories behind an alleged transfer to the top Ukrainian club is quite interesting/

According to the Mehr news reporter, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, the young Iranian striker, was transferred on loan from Fenerbahce to FC Zorya Luhansk, a club from Ukraine, and has had an excellent performance in the Ukrainian league this season. Recently, the Turkish press reported that Sayyadmanesh had an offer of 8 million euros from the Ukrainian team Shakhtar Donetsk, which was turned down by the president of the Zorya club.

A few days after that news broke, “Alexander Denisov “, a famous reporter was one of the hosts of football programs in Ukraine. Denisov revealed the story behind Sayyadmanesh’s offers and announced that the Iranian striker has been noticed by Italian Serie A teams. This sudden interest by the unknown Italian clubs has caused a challenge between the two clubs who lay claim to Allahyar, Zorya, and Fenerbahce in Turkey over the right of transfer of the Iranian striker.

“Allahyar’s story is interesting and even funny,” Denisov said. “Fenerbahce bought the player but did not give him a chance to play. They bought a pretty capable footballer but did not appreciate his abilities. So he was transferred to Zorya on loan for a period of one-and-a-half-year with an option for a fee of transfer of 2.5 million (possibly Euro). At that moment, no one at Fenerbahce Club seriously counted on Sayyadmanesh being a major team player.

Zorya does not even pay the full salary to Allahyar. Zorya 10,000 and Fenerbahce give 20,000 to this player. And then serious interest for Sayyadmensh was heard from several unknown clubs in Serie A. Italy. The price range quoted for the player was from 5 to 7 million (probably euros). The Turks somehow were informed of this interest, Zorya asked to return the player but the Ukrainians are determined to hang on to him after the realization of the Italian interests. Zorya wants to activate a buy-out clause in the contract with Fenerbahce and pay the determined amount of 2.5 million if Zorya wanted to turn the loan contract into a permanent transfer.  In this case, it is possible for Zoriya to sell Allahyar  for two or three times the price they paid for.”

In another part of his talk, Denisov praised the skills and his goal-scoring abilities, speed, and assists of Iranian young forward saying: ” Sayyadmanesh has the potential to progress and is therefore being sold at a high price. This why the Turks announced that the Allahyar could be sold to Shakhtar for 8 million euros. This news has not been confirmed because Shakhtar has no plans for such a transfer.”

Sayadmanesh has played 16 matches for Zorya Ukraine this season, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists. Sayyadmanesh is currently invited to the Iranian national team camp.

Sayyadmanesh to Shakhtar Donetsk!

A Ukrainian “Sport” website claimed in a news item that the officials of the Zorya Luhansk club intend to activate the permanent purchase clause of the Iranian striker Allahyar Sayadmanesh from the Turkish club Fenerbahce.

According to the Turkish press sources, the management of Zorya Club has informed the heads of Fenerbahce Club that ” it will activate the purchase clause of Allahyar Sayadmanesh’s contract at a price of 1.5 million Euros, ” the website wrote. The Luhansk club intends to buy its striker and then sell it to Shakhtar Donetsk for 8 million euros. “According to this source, Zorya Club has already reached an agreement with all stakeholders”

It was previously reported that Zorya did not have the money to buy Allahyar, but after the Iranian striker helped Zorya beat Shakhtar in the league, he was named the best player in the Ukrainian league in February. He was also invited to the national team of Iran. “In the current Ukrainian season, Sayadmanesh has played 11 games, scoring 4 goals & making 2 assists

Destination Turkey.

The two mighty neighbors Turkey and Iran have a heavy mutual influence on each other, due to geographical proximity, economic benefits, linguistic and ethnic relations. They were also regional rivals at some stage of history and fought each other for influence and power. In modern times, the relation has been peaceful and friendly.  Football formed part of this peaceful relationship and also created a regional rivalry.

The Turkish association with European football and its membership in UEFA, has immensely benefitted its development. The Turkish national team, despite making it to the World Cup twice only in their history (1954 & 2002), was always considered to be better and stronger than Iran’s Team Melli from the early 50s. Those days, the two countries played a lot of football against each other including a regional tournament called RCD which was a three side annual tournament that also included Pakistan in the 60s.

However, like many things after the 1979 revolution, with Iran’s major change of political ideology, the two countries experienced less than a cozy relationship, football naturally suffered from this cold relation and the two countries cut off their football connection. Neither side showed any interest in playing friendlies against the other, no doubt politics playing a major role in the break of footballing relationship.

Meanwhile, Turkish football, at club level at least, was thriving. The trio, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, and Besiktas were as good as many first-rate  European clubs. With financial clout and huge fan bases, Turkey became the focus of attention and the destination of many foreign players.  For years, the Turkish clubs employed the services of European, African and Latin American footballers, those included some household names in football. However, the majority of the big name European signings were players at the twilight of their careers who were there for a last-ditch attempt to enrich their bank accounts before hanging their boots rather than seeking glory.  The success of the policy of the Turkish clubs in attracting high profile aging footballers was mixed perhaps moderately successful at best.

What the Turkish club ignored was the abundance of talents on the eastern and southern borders. Iran and to a certain extent, Iraq had a wealth of young talents that were there for the taking. Since the late nineties, European clubs, particularly the German realized that as a number of the best Iranian players were employed by clubs like Bayern Munich , Hamburg, Hertha Berlin, and Arminia Bielefeld While talented Iraqi players headed south to the Persian Gulf states. At no time, the Turks endeavored to attract Iranians and Iraqis to play for their teams, although it would have been a good investment and certainly cheaper for them too.

By the beginning of the second decade of the millennium, The Turkish clubs, at last, looked at Iran. There had to be something special in that country’s football that can generate quality players for Team Melli.  With shoestring budgets, Iranian clubs managed to continuously deliver talented players thus enriching Team Melli and many 0f those young players eventually heading outside Iran to play professional football. In the process, Iran has made 4 appearances in the FIFA World Cup after a break of 20 years since the initial one in 1978, but also steadily climbed in the FIFA World Ranking to approach the elites. Meanwhile, Turkey managed one appearance in 2002.

That made the Turkish clubs think hard and employ scouts to talent hunt in Iran and seek bargains and future investments from the Persians.

For the Iranians, Turkey is the perfect destination for a professional player. The culture, the climate and the proximity of the two countries make it an ideal place to play football, to develop and to make a decent living.  Although the flood gates had hardly opened on the Iranians, the Turkish clubs are beginning to be shrewd as they are constantly on the lookout for talented players even as young as 18 years old. In the case of Allahyar Sayyadmanish, who was hardly a fixed player in his club Esteghlal, such investment could turn out to be a clever an astute move by Fenerbahçe. The giant Turkish club is now seeking the services of the 19 years old Iraqi forward Muhanad Ali Kadhim from Al Shorta Club.

It is a win-win situation for both sides. Iranian Players can develop well in Turkey with training facilities and passionate fans enhancing the league to become one of the best in Europe. It is certainly the right environment for aspiring young Iranian and Iraqi players.
