Iran U23 football (Omid Team) squad competing for a place in the Olympic Games 2016 has been announced.

Sixteen nations are vying for honors at the continent’s second largest national team competition, which also serves as the qualification for the the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Omid team has already arrived in Doha and started training under the supervision of Mohammad Khakpour.

Iran is one of the strong contenders for qualification with a team which has at least 5 Team Melli players.
