A young forward from Esfahan.
Sharifi plays for Sepahan club where he was picked for Iran's U 20 team.
His best season came in 2013/14 where his scoring and performance impressed Team Melli coach Queiroz.
Sharifi was first invited to Team Melli for the South African camp, however, he was not able to make it because of club commitment playing in the AFC Champions League. Second time he was called for duty was for the Austrian camp prior to the world Cup 2014.
Sharifi was given his debut against Belarus in Austria.
