Sadeghian is a prolific scorer who has played for Iran at 3 different age levels and eventually made his debut for the Senior Team just after his 20th Birthday.
Sadeghian captained Iran's under-17 team while he played for the under-17 in the world cup and scored twice.
While arguably he had his best season in his professional career with Persepolis in 2013/14, and selected for Team Melli, Sadeghian was crossed out from the list of the squad for the FIFA World Cup 2014.
