Barzager , a left back , was a product of Bank Melli team , where he played since the early years of his football career. He was drafted in the full team by then coach Hamid Alidosti.
Barzager later transferred to Fajr Sepasi when Ghasimpour was the coach of the Shirazi Club, and played his best football there.
His good performance attracted the attention of Perspolis which he joined in 1998 on a 5 years contract. Barzagar made his Team Melli debut while at Perpolis , however , he hardly managed to win a regular place in the team.
