Mohammad Navazi, played in the AFC Asian Cup in Lebanon 2000, the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, and the captain of the national team in the Islamic Solidarity Games. Navazi was one of Esteghlal most popular players, known for his unique moves on the flanks, pace, technique, and precise crosses which earned him the title of Beckham of Asia from the fans.
