Rashidi started playing football in his hometown in Masid Soleiman in Khuzestan province. He was spotted by scouts and transfer to Tehran to play for Taj. He was selected for Team Melli and made his debut in the Olympics Games Munich 1972 when he kept the goal for Iran against Hungary. There was a fierce rivalry between him and Nasser Hejazi for the number one spot in Team Melli. HONORS
