Nazim Ginjapour was born in Ahvaz. He is one of many Khuzestani players who shot to fame playing in Tehran. After playing his early years football in his hometown , he joined the famous Shahin Club of Tehran in 1964. In June 1967 he scored a hat trick against Tehran Javan in a match which was the last official match played by Shahin. Later on the club was disbanded by the order of the authorities.
Like many of his club-mates at Shahin, Ginjapour joined a newly formed Perspolis team. He was the first player to score in the Tehran derby in 1969 when he scored a goal against Taj Tehran.
Ginjapour left Perspolis to Paykan along with several of Perspolis players. He re-joined Perspolis but his next stint was short as he then joined Pas Tehran.
Ginjapour scored a goal in his debut and the only appearance for Team Melli.
