The much-traveled Iranian striker joins Aris on a six-month contract, with an option to renew for another year. Ansarifard will be made available to Akis Mantzios, after the end of his obligations with Team Melli currently involved in the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.

Karim Ansarifard is the fourth signing of Aris for the current transfer window. The Iranian striker signed a six-month contract with the Yellow and Blacks, while the agreement between the two sides includes an option to renew for another year.

The player will travel to Thessaloniki after the end of the AFC Asian Cup. He was playing in the Cypriot League with Omonia Nicosia.

Aris qualified for the UEFA Europa Conference League last season 2022/23 after finishing fifth in the Greek Super League. This current season, Aris is ranked fifth with 33 points in 20 matches.
