Reza Ahadi the Ex-Team Melli and Esteghlal Tehran midfield player , passed away in a Tehran hospital after struggling with illness.

The 53 year Ahadi has been receiving treatment for kidney failure but succumbed shortly after admission, The Esteghlal midfielder made his  International Debut for Team Melli against  South Korea on  23-November-1982 .

He played 16 matches for Team Melli in the period of 9 years scoring two goals in the process. After his retirement , he coached in Esteghlal and several other teams.
