Homayoun Behzadi and Ali Daei have been invited by the Asian Football Confederaion to represent Iran in the 60th anniversary celebrations of the organization.

The AFC was founded in Manila 60 years ago on May 8, 1954. The AFC Annual Awards in November  will provide the perfect platform for the celebrations, AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa has stated on several occasions.

Around 500 dignitaries from around the globe will attend this historic event and several AFC Standing Committees will meet on the sidelines of the function. AFC has appointed PFF President Mariano Araneta as the Chairman of the anniversary celebrations committee.
