Vahid Shamsaei, the head coach of Iran’s national futsal team, invited 16 players to participate in the preparatory camp for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024 in Thailand.

The invited players are all in the domestic league while the legionnaires will be invited at a later stage with the agreement of the clubs. Team Melli recently played in the Vietnam tournament and managed two wins against Vietnam and New Zealand while losing against Morocco.
