Mojtaba Khorshidi, the Manager of Team Melli said “the last game of our national team against Lebanon might be held in a city other than Tehran”:

“According to the president of the federation in regards to the development of football in the provinces, there is an inclination for the last game of the group against Lebanon to be played in one of the following cities; Mashad, Isfahan, Tabriz or Ahvaz. provided they get the approval from FIFA and are up to the standards required” Khorshidi added.

” I think it could be a good and pleasant event for Iranian football. The national football team is doing its best to win both games and maintain its lead. We do need our fans elsewhere to witness the success of the team also”
