Team Melli’s Central defender Hadi Aghili is reported to be suffering an injury that will keep him off the filed for over 4 weeks.
Hadi Aghili, who is a new signing for Qatar FC in the QSL , suffered a sudden injury in the match against Al Rayyan , as he raced to a long ball, allowing the Brazilian Nilmar to take advantage to find himself one on one with the Qater FC goalkeeper and scoring. Aghili had to leave the field with what turned to be a thigh muscle that will keep him out for around a month.
Becuse of this mishap , Team Melli will be facing Korean Rep without Aghili on October 16th in Azadi . Carlos Queiroz who has already changed the long standing central defense partnership of Aghili and Hosseini , by replacing the latter with Pejman Montazeri , is obliged to change his central backs again for the crucial match against the group leader and favorite Korea Rep.
On a positive note, Esteghlal’s influential midfielder Mojtba Jabbari has reported fully fit and resumed his training with the club. Jabbari , who has suffered several injuries in his career which has hindered his progress , is yet to feature for Esteghlal this season. It is not known if Queiroz will pick him for the Korea game so soon after recovering from a long lay off, although the Portuguese coach has a track record of doing so when he played Masoud Shojaei who had a much longer injury spell than Jabbari, for the Lebanon match.
The Osasuna midfielder has not featured for his club in the La Liga. while playing in the World Cup 2014 qualifier , not even making the bench.
