Coach Ali Parvin
Born September 25th, 1947 in Tehran) as a former player, He is considered as one of the most famous footballers ever to play in Iran.

In late 1989 Parvin was appointed as head coach of Team Melli. His prior coaching experience was gained managing Tehran powerhouse, Persepolis. He gained popularity when Iran won the 1990 Asian Games football gold medal, but early elimination from the 1992 Asian Cup and failure to qualify for World Cup 1994 cost him his job. He was fired in 1993 and replaced by Stanko Poklepovic.
